Since 2013, The List of the World’s Largest Ski Resorts by Christoph Schrahe has been providing something that significantly advances ski tourism: objective, verifiable, and fairly comparable data about the actual size of ski resorts.

After a six-year break, the Report returns – more modern, more extensive, and more relevant than ever.

 

Moreover, it will include a new metric, one that was missing until now: the Skimeilen© (ski miles), developed by Christoph Schrahe — a uniform metric that truly shows how “big” a ski resort is. This comprehensive indicator combines ten different factors (including slope length, vertical drop, skiable area) into one value. It reflects the real skiing experience far better than just the kilometers of runs. Of course, the update will also include the data you already know.
